Bride-In-Waiting

You'd think or rather Mad Mothers like to think or so we've been brainwashed to think - that Girls-going-to-get-Married would spend their time applying papaya/banana/cucumber to their faces and learning to cook and worrying about what to wear.

Obviously this is not happening here. Driving classes, junketing around the countryside getting more tanned, reading stuff she's missed out these last years and being involved in every bit of the wedding plans is shocking everyone around.

Note: The pic has the wedding invitations arranged in front - its not the floor. I'm not brave enough to go in for a white floor.
The cards were laid out to dry after dotting them with the customary turmeric at the edges. It just seemed a good pic.

Thanks Gardenia.Whichever you like - the laid back attitude or the photo.
Those are the cards with turmeric smeared on left to dry.

I would never have guesssed it - I thought they were tiles, so symmetically are they aranged. This speaks of the meticulous way things are done at your end, Kalyani. I am sure the wedding ceremonies will run beautifully.

Oh I thought they were tiles too. I thought how clean the floor is! Beautiful room.

Raji, I only wish what you say is true. But have to admit, meticulous can hardly describe me.
But can be said perfectly of your home and personality. Lovely meeting you.:-)

I thought you are busy with your wedding stuff and traveling—I didn’t realize you have been keeping up with your blogging. I came after a long time to your blog thinking there will be a gap like the one you had a few weeks ago. Hence the silence.
