Most of the running is done to slow down to a walking pace and there is time for lots of books, movies good and bad, friends new and old ,and thoughts that find their way in and linger and grow until they are expressed here .
Terrible pictures of the devastation in the Nilgiris. My uncle ( till he passed away a few years ago) lived in Kogagiri. Times were tough, but he refused to move closer to civilisation ( noise as he termed it). Each time, he would shoot off a letter when he was outraged about some destruction that was carried out in the name of development.
Thanks Radha for visiting. Yes, I know we keep ranting about the tourists and the development. But Im sure in a few months once the roads are repaired, the tourists, the resort builders and the buyers will be back.
